Seyifunmi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience providing clients with legal advisory across Nigeria’s corporate and financial services sectors. She has developed significant expertise in structuring and supporting complex project finance transactions, providing strategic legal and regulatory advice, and navigating evolving regulatory frameworks.
Her practice also includes advising on compliance obligations, corporate governance standards, regulatory risk assessment, and the implementation of robust compliance programmes that align with statutory and industry requirements. She is experienced in working closely with boards of directors, C-suite executives, regulators, and cross-functional teams to develop practical, commercially focused solutions that strengthen governance frameworks, mitigate regulatory risk, and foster a culture of compliance within organisations.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Obafemi Awolowo University as well as a Barrister-at-Law (B.L.) qualification from the Nigerian Law School. In addition to these, she is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Lagos.
