Diran is the Managing Partner of our firm and has more than 2 decades of experience and triple bar qualifications in different key jurisdictions, including Nigeria. In addition to disputes settlement, Diran specialises in banking, project finance, power, infrastructure, M&A and energy and natural resources. He has been involved in groundbreaking transactions in Nigeria’s energy sector, initially leading the energy and projects practice at a top law firm and later as General Counsel and Head of Compliance at an exploration and production company (a JV with NNPC).
Diran holds an LL.M. degree in petroleum taxation and finance from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee and another LL.M. in international business transactions from the Washington College of Law at the American University in Washington, D.C. He is qualified to practise law in Nigeria and is admitted to practise law in the State of New York and in Texas.
